Cahaba Saxophone Quartet
The Cahaba Saxophone Quarter is in its tenth year of performing in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. The ensemble repertoire includes classical works from the Renaissance through the Contemporary periods, as well as Pop, Jazz and Ragtime.
The versatility of the saxophone allows this unique chamber ensemble to emulate the subtleties of a fine string quartet, the power of a brass quintet and the grandeur of a pipe organ.
The Cahaba Saxophone Quartet has performed at such venues as Samford University, the University of Montevallo, the Artburst Series, Promenade Concert series at Auburn University and City Stages.
