Edujardo Rojas

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Eduardo Rojas, at age 16, eduardo1won the “Jóvenes Talentos” (Young talents) piano competition hosted by the Luis Angel Arango Concert Hall in Bogotá, an award that earned him nation-wide recognition for his exceptional talent and propelled him into a successful career.

                        

Mr. Rojas was awarded a music scholarship by Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is currently pursuing piano studies in the Artist Diploma Program for international soloists under the tutelage of pianist Harold Martina. Mr. Rojas was recently selected by the prestigious Van Cliburn Foundation as exclusive pianist of its annual Community Concerts Program. Furthermore, in November 2007, he was invited by the University of Montevello as concert soloist. Among his future performances worthy of mention, is a 2010 tour of China, which includes recitals, master classes, and orchestra performances as soloist.
