The “Latin Jazz” sound of The Latin Rhythms Band has been entertaining audiences in music festivals, night clubs, Mexican cantinas, and private fiestas and dances since 1995. The band’s highly energetic and danceable shows include salsa, merengue, boleros, bossa novas, guajira, guaguanco, and Latin rock stylings. Their array of instruments includes trumpet, trombone, electric bass, keyboard, drum kit, congas, bongos, and an assortment of Latin percussion – maracas, clave, cow bell, Cuban guiro, merengue guiro, and timbales. Although the band members are now based in the Tennessee Valley, they bring a wealth of cultural and musical experiences from Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, Panama, and Mexico.
